A newborn is found dead in a serene, simple Pennsylvania Amish farming community. High-profile criminal lawyer Ellie Harrison ditches her self-indulgent city life to head to the rural farm in order to defend Katie, an unmarried 18-year-old Amish girl, who stands accused of killing her baby.
